Medium to large plants also require a specific type of filter, and that is where the PPC – PPC VM (VM = metal tank) series comes in. The discs of this series are served by one pump, with another pump serving as backup.
Backwashing is done systematically, with the sequence and the selection of discs determined and performed by this machine’s double-acting valves. It does not consume a lot of energy despite the increase of the plant’s potential.
The largest PPC – PPC VM metal tank can handle around 40,000 PE worth of load, with a filtering space that measures 120 m2.
