Pressure filters for final suspended solids, odours, colour and metals removal.
The pressure filters (with sand, activated carbon, zeolite or other filtering media) assure a high quality effluent through a simple and reliable process.
The flow is forced through the filtering bed by the feeding pump. The flow is continuous until the differential pressure between feed and discharge side reaches a certain level.
The pressure increase is caused by the clogging of the filtering media. In case of material having a limited life cycle, it may be removed and replaced with new material. The high filtration velocity allows to have installations with a smaller footprint compared to gravitational systems.

The systems can be automated and supplied with pneumatic or electrically actuated valves.
