Food Switches are used to control operations and productivity. They have a mounting mechanism for when the hands cannot be used. Different versions of the switch are used depending on environmental conditions and mechanical duty. The robust GF and GFS range switches are generally used in the engineering industry, e.g. on presses, punching and bending machines and in sheet-steel processing. Applications for the plastic KF range switches include use in the electro-medical area, on textile machinery and laboratory apparatus. All the foot pedals have multiple versions for range of choice. GFS range switches are mounted with a shield to protect against unintentional actuation. GF and GFS range switches are mounted with slow, snap action or Hall sensors. GF-Ex and GFS-Ex range switches are EEx approved under the Certificate of Conformity PTB Ex-89.C.1051.
