J. Schneider Elektrotechnik produces oil-insulated transformers, oil-starting reactors or special transformers with water-oi heat exchanger. This transformer is available on two cooling process options. It offers the standard version of natural air cooling (ONAN), and the forced-cooling with oil/water exchanger (ONWF). It optimizes energy balance as it minimizes the no-load losses which reduces related C02 emissions.

Its distribution transformer or converter transformer works on the lowest possible core losses overall. The company also manufacture oil-insulated transformers, as smoothing or starting transformer, high-voltage rectifier unit or a special customized converter transformer, individually for clients specific applications.
