MODULO 6 is the development of a high-technology program carried out by BONGIOANNI aiming at manufacturing machines able to produce optimised sawn products without waste.

Modulo 6 combines the edger work to the multi rip saw work. The trimmed products are chipped by two opposed but independent chipping canter heads. The circular blades cut sawn products of different sizes. A laser sensor detects the profile of the board to be cut and the system suggests an optimized cut scheme for each single board.

Technical features

MODULO 6 consists of two opposed and independent cutting heads.
Each cutting head carries a chipper canter. In the middle of each Canter there are two telescopic independent blade-holder spindles. One blade can be mounted on the external spindle; several circular blades can be mounted on the inner spindle. Spindles positioning is controlled by brushless motors.
The machine is controlled by optimization software with different priority levels.
