The Atlas is a high performance magnetic level indicator. It has a single chamber, the diameter of which can be 2″, 2.5″, or 3″. This measurement depends on the application. The unit comes with twelve basic styles including top-mount models. It can be made from a wide range of materials including plastics. Orion also offers a wide range of process connection types and sizes.
The Atlas can be configured with various level transmitters, switches, flag and shuttle indicators with or without stainless steel scales. These additions help provide better level and monitoring control. The Atlas float moves, actuating the flags or shuttle for visual indication, in response to the level movement. A change of level in the process tank causes a similar change within the Atlas chamber.
