Dytran presents model 3062A integrated electronic piezoelectric (IEPE) accelerometer. It has been specifically developed to cover vibration measurement points with widest frequency bands of Rotor, Track and Balance (RTB), airframe, helicopter, and fixed wing aircraft. Because of its identical appearance, the sensor is commonly known as “spark plug type” within the industry.
The model 3062A comes with a sensitivity of 10 mV/g. It has a stainless steel construction with hermetic sealing. This makes it ideal for use in environments with high humidity and dirt. Also the case is isolated to prevent EMI/ground loop interference. The unit has an axial-mounted Bayonet connector of military type with 3 pins. It also has mounting threads of 1/4-28 and lockwire holes.
