The 3DMS is a motorized translation stage with sub-micron precision that is capable of converting a conventional Sutter MP-285 manipulator into the 3-dimensional motorized stage. It consists of a manipulator and stage that can be installed on an MT-75 gantry stand located next to an upright microscope. This machine can also installed to any MD series that has an inverted microscope connected to it. Constructed in a miniature structure, the 3DMS enables users and devices to be utilized at the same time. Due to the 3DMS’s three-axis manipulator feature, an integrated focusing device, that is usually required on various X-Y locations wherein images are immediately obtained, is installed. This equipment is highly durable to be used in experiments intolerant of pipette drifts.
