Thickness detectorBDK series

This universal unit is used for the safe double sheet metal detection of non-ferrous sheet metals. Its applications include both non-contact and single surface contact measurement, as well as for double surface non-contact measurement. The system includes both an evaluation device (BDK) and up to 2 sensors. T-couplers and/or a sensor switch can be used to operate further sensors.

It is fully programmable with simple controls, for setting and storing up to 256 memory locations with respect to various materials and thicknesses and their associated sheet metal thickness sensors. It provides interfaces to the plant control and to various standard field buses as well as for the uploading and downloading of the parameters for the program. These are both field-proven and robust, with multiple uses in the automotive industry.
