Stainless steel-housed resistor

The starting resistors are designed and manufactured by JOVYATLAS which has 30 years of existence. The unit functions to start large asynchronous machines with slip ring rotors. At first, the starting resistor in the rotor circuit is completely switched on and then switched off again in stages, until it reaches the full motor power.

The starting resistor reduces the starting current of the motor, thus enhances its momentum. The resistor will determine the starting performance of the drive system. Furthermore, the resistors are made of stainless steel grids and zinc-coated steel panel.
