We use exclusively pure silicon (9N) in order to maintain a reliable and qualitative consistency. Our purpose is to make high value products regarding individual specification to meet every user’s requirement with the highest quality level.

On these kind of products, neutron generators need a really high quality in term of roughness, this is the reason we developed an exclusive polishing process in order to insure a roughness <2 Å (RMS) with an excellent flatness and an excellent diffraction grating. Sil’tronix ST produces its own Cz Intrinsic single silicon crystals (with extremely pure silicon - 9N) in order to provide the best quality for X-ray diffraction analysis and insure flexibility for low and medium volume. Because we growth our own monocrystalline silicon ingots, the silicon crystal structure is perfectly mastered in order to machine the material with a really good orientation accuracy (up to 0,02°).
