Description
The AO702 is a photoelectric contrast sensor with an operating distance of 18-22 mm and uses red, green and blue light to detect contrast. It reliably detects print marks and contrasts. When the desired contrast is detected, the sensor outputs a switching signal. Light-on/Dark-on mode are set via pushbuttons on the device. The high IP67 protection rating enables use in all standard factory automation applications.
The sensor is not only suitable for distinguishing between black and white, but also intelligently selects the ideal colour of the transmitted light to reliably detect the smallest differences in brightness (grey values and colours). The sensitivity of the measurement can be set via teach pushbuttons on the device. The very high switching frequency of 10,000 Hz allows the monitoring of extremely fast processes and the production of large quantities.
