The 12U,12R2 was designed to meet the demanding environment of ground mobile, airborne and shipboard applications according to MIL-STDs. This unit is the ideal solution for customized system designs because of its ability to mount 6U x 160mm and 9U x 400mm cards along with different device mounting options.
The unit is configurable and can be ordered with a choice of custom I/O panels, AC or DC power input, 500 to 1200 watt PSU, device mounting, rear I/O card mounting, shock or fixed isolated card cage, MicroTCA or CPSI, VPX, VXS, VME64x and VME.
It is also available in 22″ and 25″ and can hold up to 20 front-loaded and fixed cards. Airflow starts from the front to the back using high volume fans. There are also shock-isolated versions that can have 25G inputs to the unit’s chassis and less than 10Gs on its card cage.
