Pt100 Temperature Sensor Insert
Principle
EMCO temperature sensor inserts series MI with appropriate thermowells are used for temperature measurement within many industries including steel works, power stations, chemical and petro-chemical industries, pharmaceutical and food industry, cement factories and marine industry etc.
Construction
The sensing element consists of a ceramic plate with platinum fixed to it according to the thin film technique. The electrical resistance changes with the temperature. The resistance is 100 ohm at 0°C.
Due to the small weight of the sensing element, 2 things are secured :
Short response time and insensitive to vibrations.
