The Mystaire Misonix FE-PCR Prep Station is a compact laminar flow enclosure that reduces the risk of sample contamination while performing polymerase chain reaction experiments.

Airborne contaminants are prevented from entering the work zone through constant positive pressure HEPA filtered air. The FE-PCR Prep station is equipped with a built-in 254 nanometer shortwave lamp to effectively decontaminate the work area between amplifications. The FE-PCR Prep Station is fitted with a safety interlock to prevent operator exposure to potentially harmful UV radiation. The UV light has a user definable timer of 0-60 minutes per activation cycle.

The FE-PCR Prep station is a bench-top personal clean zone allowing the operator to amplify RNA and DNA while minimizing the potential for background from cross contamination
