Urethane sleeves are typically used to protect a surface from wear abrasion and damage. Most cast urethane sleeves consist of an OD and ID configuration. We are able to manufacture polyurethane sleeves up to 4 feet, tight tolerance custom urethane sleeves are no problem for us! Plan Tech can mold to size or machine any urethane sleeves needed for your application. Some customers have found the ease of replacement of conveyor lines or slip fit applications to protect equipment or hoses.
Most sleeves are low cost providing an easy replacement in roller applications. Being able to stock low-cost replacements, polyurethane sleeves increases production and due to urethanes, long life from wearing this can also reduce any costly downtime. Urethane sleeves are an ideal choice over rubber because urethane will outperform rubber on an average of 3 to 1. Urethane is also non-marking with a variety of additives to increase wear and lubricity. Polyurethane sleeves will also soften the blow of an impact and return to its original shape even after years of abuse. Sleeves are precision fit with durability to ensure superior performance in any application.
