Optimised for maximum reliability in rough environments, marine tank level instruments (TLIs) are the solution for unusual tasks.
The float principle ensures reliable results in surface or separating layer measurements, as are customary in submarines. Thanks to the voltage divider principle and the 2-3-2 sequence measurement, we achieve maximum reliability that is essential for a military approval.

Due to their stable design, WEKA TLI sensors of the XM-36000E/XM-140000E series are particularly suitable for tanks in commercial and military shipbuilding (shock and vibration resistance) and for industrial tanks with high-viscosity, heavily moved media (e.g. induced by agitators). Additionally, in the case of limited space conditions in irregularly shaped tanks (e.g. submarines), there is the option of interconnecting several individual transmitter to an overall transmitter.

The essential difference between the new XM-140000E series and the long-time tried-and-tested XM-36000E series is that the resolution was increased 2.5-fold (5 mm instead of 12.7 mm) – and this with shock values that are 10 times higher. Additionally, in a special feature for applications in military shipbuilding, the magnets in the floats in the XM-140000E series are arranged in such a way that an extremely small stray field is produced.

To this end, a complete set of shock-certified mountings was developed. Various materials and coatings are available for aggressive media.
