The flowcom compensates for flow meter errors that are caused by variations in temperature and pressure. It computes mass or standard volume flow rates for gasses, liquids, or steam. It will even do this for pair monitoring stations. Unit will calculate heat transfer rates, plus thermal energy contents for refrigerants and heat transfer media. Having a dual channel version, the flowcom is able to calculate the balances that exists between the return and supply lines. This provides an added advantage of the flowcom. The unit operation is not based on problematic equations, but has a number of permanently stored tables of mass densities and enthalpies for commonly employed media. The flowcom will compensate the influence of both pressure and temperature on all flow meters, such as the integrations of pitot tubes, orifices, venturis, vortex meters, mag meters, ultrasonic flowmeters, PD-meters. The communication software of the flow com is Windows based.
