Application

The pelletizer is used to directly granulate the extruded products after the conveyor / -cooling belt or the water bath. The speed of the strand feeding roll and the cutting knife can be adjusted seperatly. This allows that the strand feeding can be precisely adjusted to the current extrudate and the pellet length can be adjusted in the range of 1 – 10 mm during operation. Longer granules up to 20 mm are possilbe on request. The spring-loaded upper roll guarantees a smooth intake of the extruded product.
The pelletizer can be controlled by interface or it can be integrated into a higher-level system.
The cutting edges of the knife are especially designed to cut both, soft and hard extrudates easily and precisely.
Collecting vessels for the pellets are available in different sizes.
