The VAP³ by Eastern Instruments is a heated pilot tube which comes with an integral heating element that enables it to deliver an accurate differential pressure even when the temperature of the air drops below freezing. This unit can work in modes, either Accuracy (SA) mode or Particulate Application (PA) mode. In SA mode, it is used for clean air application while the PA mode is used for plug resistance which has a heavily particulate laden applications.
