Electronic gas-volume conversion device type 2 is powered by 24V DC voltage. Device converts gas volume measured by a gas meter to base conditions. Correction factor is determined basing on pressure and temperature measured by external transducers and gas compressibility factor. Moreover, MacMAT IV is also calculating energy of flowing gas on a basis of defined energetic parameters. Flowcomputer cooperates with following types of gas meters: turbine, rotary, orifice, ultrasonic and mass.

Flowcomputer is equipped with LAN and USB communication ports, three RS-485 serial ports, RS-422 port and IEC 62056-21 OptoGAZ port. Equipped with additional digital inputs and control outputs, MacMAT IV is capable of controlling unit processes and automatic transfer of information concerning emergency conditions. Integrated batteries guarantee sustaining work of flowcomputer in case of power supply failure.
