Food extruder

Three-Tec GmbH is expanding its extruder-line with the hybrid mini-extruder. As a table-top model it has two separate and individually dimensionable extrusion possibilities with 5, 9 or 12mm screw-diameter.
Extrusion of quantities of less than 1 gram of a product are possible. This allows a significant reduction of the production costs for new developments and the results can easily be scaled up to a commercial size machine. Due to the small dimension of the barrel, it can be quickly heated and cooled, which leads to a significant increase in productivity. Furthermore, the temperature of each heating zone can be controlled separately.
The extruder has a good cleanability and is fitted with easily replaceable barrels and screws that can be configured to the customer’s needs. The compact, small and light design allows the machine to be used at different locations quickly, including high-containment rooms and glove boxes. GMP- and FDA-compliant versions of the extruder are possible and very popular in the pharmaceutical and food industry.
All Three-Tec peripheral devices such as dosing systems, spheronizer, conveyor belt, granulator or water bath are applicable for standard extruders as well as for the hybrid line or as single applications. Three-Tec machines are, upon request, individually produced according to the requirements of the customers.
