In the energy and water industry systems for automated consumption-data acquisition gain more and more importance. Both in reading hard to access meters and in the monthly teletransfer of special-contract clients‘ consumption data the radio system proved extremely reliable and economical.

Mobile radio reading
In case of the route-based radio reading the radio modules in the vicinity of the respective measuring point will be read out with a robust field-optimised handheld-terminal. This way, for example, readings from water meters in pits are taken, without loss of time and without any risk.

Stationary radio readout
The so called fixed-network radio readout recommends itself for applications with a high concentration of measuring points in the supply area. Up to 2,000 radio modules (same construction as with the mobile dataacquisition module) upon command communicate with the data concentrator. An integral GSM module transfers the consumption and service data to the respective server through any distances needed.
