Hot Swappable Batteries
MD-116 features dual hot swappable batteries which provide continuous power and mobility for paramedics to overcome any situation. Each battery has an indicator to show power level and the battery release button is a 2-step action designed to prevent accidentai battery removal.

Dual Smart Card
To ensure efficiency and data accuracy, MD-116 can read 2 smart cards simultaneously. Paramedics can use the tablet to read a patient’s insurance card for EMR retrieval even while the operator’s ID card is still inserted.
