Fabric winder

The Bias Cutter/Winder opens previously formed tube material – spirally in the bias – and rewinds a single ply roll, prepared for the Strip Cutter.

Machine spécifications

• Max width of material 200cm (78″).
• Max width of tube material to be opened and rolled on the bias – measured double fiat is 120-155cm (47-61 “) depending on the bias angle.
• In order to ensure minimal waste the 45 degree bias angle is adjustable between 38 and 52 degrees (from 12 degrees with kit option), allowing control of the final width of the bias roll.
• One arm is free floating on roller bearings which self adjusts the tension of tube material. This compensâtes for irregularities in width of tube.
• Ail rollers hâve sealed bail bearings.
• Svegea’s Bias Cutter/Winder has an advanced electronically controlled speed régulation allowing stepless speed control up to 30 Meter/minute, keeping the rotating speed of the basket (for folded material) or the tube feed unit (rolled material) true to the speed of the Bias Cutter.
