The single-slide CamGrind L can be retooled and upgraded to meet changing application requirements at any time, thanks to its perfectly coordinated modular design. In addition to individual machining, this machine can also handle complete production lines.

Granitan® machine base
The CamGrind L1 has a proven Granitan® machine bed. This material possesses excellent damping characteristics and high thermal stability. This is a big advantage when machining workpieces with high quality requirements.

Swivel-in spindle
Thanks to SCHAUDT‘s patented swivel-in spindle, the CamGrind L1 can be additionally equipped with up to two grinding wheel. The spindle is mainly equipped with ceramic CBN wheels. Electroplated or metal-bonded tools can also be used.

Workhead
The CamGrind L1 features a high-precision, directly powered workhead with excellent runout characteristics. The rigid design of the directly powered spindle makes the headstock suitable for clamping with MK4 center points as well as for chuck operation.
