Supply and exhaust ventilation, air conditioning and heating system
Supply and exhaust ventilation, air conditioning and heating system (hereinafter VCHS) is applied for providing specified temperature conditions in metro substation rooms.
•internal air temperature:
– in summer:
in switchgear rooms max. + 30 °С;
in accumulator batteries room max. +25 °С;
in transformer hall, cable cellars — max. +35 °С;
in service premises — max. + 27 °С.
– in winter:
in service premises min. + 18 °С;
in accumulator batteries, switchgear rooms, and cable cellars min. +16 °С.
•external air intake into transformer hall;
•external air intake into switchgear rooms and accumulator batteries room;
•exhaust air release from transformer hall, switchgear rooms;
•exhaust air release above roof ridge from accumulator room and WC room;
•exhaust air release from cable cellars, if necessary;
•service premises ventilation: air intake through opened windows, and air release through WC room and production premises.
SYSTEM STRUCTURE
VCHS includes:
•actuating mechanisms (chillers, air conditioners, blowers, fan coil units, convectors, pumps, damper valves, air supply units, etc.);
•sensors: temperature, pressure, air pollution, dry running, humidity, etc;
•actuating mechanisms control equipment with recording signals from sensors and operator’s control actions.
Control equipment is installed in metal cabinets.
CONTROL
Control cabinets automatics involves local or remote control of ventilation and air conditioning system actuating units, automatic tripping of blowers, air conditioners, fan coil units, convectors in case of fire alarm in substation.
