The Absorption FLEX Pack FLOW is a useful and flexible bundle to take advantage of absorbance and transmittance time-dependent flow measurements that are available on the kinetics module of the LightScan software. This package uses, in solutions suitable for the UV measurements, a stable and high-powered UV-Vis-NIR deuterium and tungsten-halogen high power light source (LS-DWHP), and for the Vis/NIR range a stable tungsten-halogen light source (LS-W20).

The FLEX STD, which is configured with 25 µm slit and offers an optical resolution better than 1.6nm, is combined with a 1 mm pathlength flow cell which is available in stainless steel (a robust material) or PEEK (inert material) and two optical fibers allows for measurements over three wavelength ranges(the narrow-range UV-Vis and Vis-NIR and the extended-range UV-Vis-NIR) with a fast sample screening with a minimum of 2 ms integration time.
