Our micro-electromechanical systems (MEMS)-based accelerometers are designed to detect changes in force resulting from fall, motion, positioning, shock, tilt, and vibration. We offer a broad portfolio of 1-axis accelerometers supporting high ranges that are an ideal solution for automotive applications.

For automotive safety, acceleration sensors provide crash detection for efficient deployment of forwarding and side airbags as well as other automotive safety devices. Accelerometers are also used in electronic stability control (ESC) to measure the lateral acceleration of the vehicle to help drivers maintain control of their vehicles during potentially unstable driving conditions.
