Power Distribution Unit (PDU)
Prodrive Technologies offers custom Power Distribution Units for various markets such as healthcare and semiconductor capital equipment. In the Healthcare market the PDU is used as a safety barrier for patient safety but of course also delivers the required power to all subsystems connected to it. Platforms that use a PDU are diagnostics tools such as CT, X-ray and MRI systems, but also treatment tools such as IG-IMRT. In the Semiconductor market our PDUs are valued because its extensive monitoring of signals that is performed by the embedded intelligent diagnostics tool. Flexibility and scalability are enabled by backplane technology. High reliability and graceful degradation is achieved by design and is key for both markets.
