Developed for medical and hospital environments the IMD (insulation monitor device) SRI3/H2INJRS485 allows to monitor continuously the status of LW networks with insulated neutral (IT-M systems). The IMD can detect insulation
defects due to resistive component, even in the presence of continuous parasitic voltages. The instrument signals the first earth fault on display, by indicating both the ohmic value of dispersion and the maximum fault current,
that could flow through the dispersion resistive. The apparatus is also able to monitor the temperature and over-current of insulating transformer. The multiple alarms that SRI3/H2INJRS485 can detect are signalled both
visually (on display) and acoustically, also thanks to the appropriate remote repetition panel RPSR3.
The SRI3/H2INJRS485 must be combined with expansions H2FL12RS48 (to detect max 12 departures) or H2FL18RS485 (to detect max 18 departures) for making fault location on network. The fault location is also possible thanks
to dedicated transducers (one for each departure/channel to control). When there is an insulation loss, due to insulation defect, the injector is able to start a search procedure, at the end of which, will be indicated on the display of expansion (series H2FL), which are the departure/s with insulation anomaly.
Options : for AC networks, for medical applications, with insulation fault location
