Validation thermocouple looms allow easy handling of multiple thermocouples when used for temperature mapping large compartments.
The number and length of thermocouples in each loom are specified by the customer. The individual thermocouples are bundled together into a loom. Each bundle is supplied with tie-wraps to assist handling, and these can be removed once the loom is in place in the chamber. Identification of individual thermocouple wires can also be requested.
Hot junctions can be left bare or encapsulated with Teflon®, or fitted with a 316L stainless steel tip.
Conductors can be in Teflon® in 1/0.3mm, 1/0.5mm, 7/0.2mm & 13/0.2mm, or in Kapton® insulated conductors in 1/0.3mm & 7/0.2mm formats. It is also possible to specifiy a weep-hole.
