The TE62 is a standard transfer tank manufactured by Hoefer. It is suitable for use in the fast and even transferring of proteins and nucleic acids from polyacrylamide or agarose gels, to nylon, nitrocellulose, or PVDF membranes.

The unit is equipped with a cooling chamber, and enables a maximum of four cassettes. Each cassette handles a 15×21 cm gel, or four mini gels with a size of 7×10 cm. The tank features color coding for easy assembly of cassettes, ensuring proper orientation during transfer.
