Application

The WEKA tank level instruments offer a reliable possibility to check the level. In addition, they are suitable as position transmitters for stroke movements. The sensors are built according to customer specifications and have proven in a wide range of industrial and chemical applications as well as in a large number of special applications for many years.
Function and designs

Depending on the level or stroke, the float that is equipped with a magnet actuates reed contacts in the switching pipe. The sensor operates according to the voltage divider principle and provides voltage (XM-xxx) or current (XT-xxx) that is proportional to the float position as an output signal. These tank level instruments are available with a resolution of either 5 mm or 2.5 mm.

In connection with the corresponding indicating meters, analog or digital indicators, for example, can be operated, visual or acoustic alarms triggered or computers fed.
