Laboratory centrifuge

The Mini Centrifuge, manufucatured by SMTmax, is generally supplied with two rotors — a rotor for the microtubes and the other for PCR 0.2ml strip tubes. The microtube rotor is specifically designed to centrifuge up to six 1.5mL plastic micro centrifuge tubes. It is also capable of accepting 0.5mL and 0.2mL tubes having adapters supplied with this unit. On the other hand, the adapters may be availed independently for 0.2mL and 0.5mL tubes.

In addition, the strip tube rotor is specifically designed to centrifuge two 8 x 0.2ml strip tubes. It is also capable of accepting up to 16 individual 0.2mL tubes. Both rotors mentioned are devised for application necessitating relatively low-forces like microfiltration and cell separation.
