Vertical lathe

When both ends of a shaft require machining using conventional production cells, it is always necessary to reclamp the workpiece. When geometries have mutual reference points, it is often impossible to keep the process stably under control, despite complex orientation and expensive clamping technology.

Our F machine has a sliding centre drive which eliminates this potential for error, because it enables both ends to be machined without reclamping. Using the optional second sliding vice, very short protruding lengths can be realised even for components of up to 800mm – with process reliability and patented engineering.
