Transair Drops brackets make installing drops lines in an existing compressed air or
industrial/inert gas system quick and easy. To install a drop bracket, you only need a drill,
Transair drill bit (dépendent on the bracket being installed), and a Transair drilling jig to precisely
drill the hole. Transair offers multiple styles of brackets to fit the space requirements of the
existing system. For scénarios where the compressed air system cannot be shut down for
modifications, Parker Transair offers the pressurized system (Hot Tap) bracket that can be
installed under pressure.
When installing the drop brackets, Parker suggests drilling the hole at the top of the pipe to
prevent moisture and débris from entering the drop line. Drilling the hole on the top can be
avoided with the use of the quick assembly bracket. Due to the placement of the seal, the quick
assembly bracket can be installed in the side of the pipe and still prevent moisture and débris
from entering the drop line. The pressurized system bracket requires a hot tap drill (pn: EA98 06
00) to install the bracket into a pressurized compressed air line.
The “full bore” design of Transair drop brackets, paired with the low coefficient of friction in the
aluminum pipe ensures optimal flow throughout the compressed air system. Ail drop brackets
are 100% recyclable, silicone free, and made from materials with no propagation of flame. Ail
drop brackets conform to the UL94HB standard. Parker Hannifin warrants ail Transair
components to be free of defects in material and workmanship for 10 years from the date of
installation.
