The BG30 has a low explosion level (LEL) of only 10% which makes it even more sensitive than the arithmetically designated alarm threshold designated in numerous norms and regulations. LEL is used to define the minimum concentration of gas in the air which makes an explosion possible.
The BG30 benefits from having a gas warning meter and a gas detector in one meter, an optic and acoustic alarm, and a semi-flexible long swan neck which is 40 cm long and can probe for hard-to-reach or otherwise inaccessible places. Offering exceptional value for money, it provides easy one-handed operation and can be individually calibrated through infinitely adjustable sensitivity controls. Its alarm frequency and volume are set to reflect the gas concentration.
The BG30 provides reliable detection of natural gas, propane, butane, methane, ethane, alcohol, acetone, petrol, ammoniac, engine fuel, industrial solvents, and many more.
