The MVG55 (Manifold Valve Gate) system is ideal for medium to large shot weight applications which require either simultaneous or sequential filling, or for cosmetic gates. The valve gate system produces faster cycle times, improved part strength and appearance with increased dimensional stability. Due to its high speed multiple gating options and lack of material traps, it will operate with the most demanding materials, including those that contain fillers.
The pneumatic actuated MVG55 is designed for easy installation and maintenance with the simple mounting in the backplate with integral airways. The MVG55 has the capacity to sequentially fill the part and the ability to manage weld lines.
The “Big Shot” MVG
Mastip’s MVG55 is ideal for cosmetic gate applications that require large shots and is available in the sizable X-Range nozzle, the BX 27 Series.
With the ability to operate at 95mm pitching (or 74mm after modification) and designed with back-plates as thin as 55mm, this large solution is still able to achieve close cavity spacing.

The MVG55 is available in sizes ranging from 75mm to 450mm with various Tip and Nut gating options and includes Pneumatic Actuation with Headed Pin and adjustable spacers to allow for valve pin refurbishment.
