1 Overview:
The BM150 vibrating wire surface strain gauge is a sensor that is fixed to the surface of structures such as concrete, walls and other building materials through different installation accessories to monitor its strain.
2. Technical indicators:
Gauge length: 100mm
Measurement: Range Pull: 1500με Pressure: 1500με
Resolution: ≤0.04%FS
Comprehensive error: ≤1.5%FS
Working temperature: -25℃~+60℃
Water pressure: 0.5MPa
3. General calculation formula:
ε= K(F1 -F0) + C(T1 -T 0)
Where:
ε—The amount of strain of the measured object (με)
K — calibration factor of strain gauge
F1 — real-time measured value of strain gauge (Hz)
F0 — Initial measurement value of strain gauge (Hz)
C — temperature correction coefficient (με/℃)
T1 —Real-time temperature value of strain gauge (℃)
T 0 — Initial temperature value of strain gauge (℃)
Note: Frequency modulus F = F²/1000
3.1 Determination of the initial value F 0 of the strain gauge: the average measured value of more than 3 consecutive times after the installation is completed can be determined as the initial value.
3.2 When the result calculated by the formula is negative, the strain gauge works in compression, otherwise, it works in tension.
Technology : vibrating wire
Other characteristics : high-accuracy, for concrete, surface
