The energy required to raise the platform is supplied by a hydraulic unit connected by hydraulic hoses to the lifting and lowering cylinders of the scissor system. The hydraulic unit consists of the following components from renowned international brands:

Electromotor connected to hydraulic pump.
Tank with oil level indicator and oil and air filters. A thermal probe is normally included.
Lifting and lowering valve including emergency drain valve.
Manometer for checking the pressure of the hydraulic system.
Pressureless circulation of the pump.
Proportional control.
