STL’s oil-hardened steel ball is suitable for use in the ball and bearing industry. The steel component ensures high hardness and high resistance to deformation and wear.
The unit is uniformly through hardened in atmosphere by means of electric furnaces. It is compliant with AISI 52100, EN31, JIS G4805 SUJ2, Wks 1.3505. The device was made using different elements, with Carbon and Chrome as the major components.
It features a tensile strength of 325,000 psi, and yield strength of 295,000 psi. The ball comes with a size from 0.635mm (0.025″) to 101.6mm (4″). It is available with standard grades of 5, 10, 25, 100, and 500.
